Hello there! It’s amazing having you here once again. Hope your end of the year plans are coming together? Like I always say, you guys are awesome; and I appreciate every visit, comments and likes on this blog. Thank you! And to our first timers, you are also welcome. I hope this trial will bring you back some other time.🙏
Today we begin a new series! I figure since we just concluded the series on national economy, it will make alot of sense to talk about resources. This will help broaden our minds as regards the meaning of a nation and the essence of a valuable political system.
What does the word resources means? What are the uses of resources? How can we manage our resources? All of these questions and many more are what we intend to answer at the end of this series.
Also, this might leads us to talking about the following topics;
- Knowledge
- Management
- Potentials
- Capacity
and other topic this series can lead us into. I will try as much as possible to talk about this from an individual perspective as well as national perspective; although they are both interrelated.
So, what does the word resources means? Resource is defined as an available source of wealth. That’s simple enough right? And wealth is defined as the quality or state of profuse abundance. Yeah! I know you are familiar with this definitions, but I needed to spell it out for the sake of this write-up.

A nation is a group of people living under a politically organised government; which means all every nation has are lands and humans, right? These are the basic requirement of every nation, and the basic resources of every nation too.
Every individual possesses a body, a soul and a spirit. And we all know the body is a channel that delivers information into the soul. We know the soul is the root of all imagination, creativity and the decision maker of every individual. And we know the efficiency of a man’s decision is based on the sort of information sent into the soul, how those information were sent and how those information were received.

It is the soul that could be creative enough to form an organised political system, which will enable the conducive livelihood of the citizens. It is the soul that will make a leader sacrifice for the people, rather than syphon money. It is the soul that could enable proper management of resources, proper exploit of natural resources (oh! In case you are wondering what that is, we would get to it soon), as well as other resources that could be a source of wealth for a nation.
Personal ambition, motivation, confidence and other related attitude needed for individual greatness is generated from the soul. Peacefulness is a thing of the soul, because a violent leader is likely to lead his people to war. The ability to envision and properly plan is a thing of the soul, because wastefulness of resources also result into poverty. All of these and many more is determined by the state of every soul, and the potent tool of the soul; the mind.
But then, every soul is empty at the stage of innocence and adolescence; and gradually as an individual continues to observe and gather knowledge from wise adults, the soul becomes wiser. Long story short, if a nation has no wise leader, teacher or adult to look up to or observe, there is every certainty that nation will remain grounded in poverty.

It’s the same old tactics repackaged to lure the strong minded citizens of a less privileged nation: they will not offer lottery to the weak, the poor and/or the less privileged individuals; but to those who has prospect. Just as they say iron sharpeneth iron, so does the mind sharpeneth each other. Hence, a community with strong and active mind will develop way faster than those with weak minds.
Thanks for reading through. I hope you gained a thing or two. Please do not forget to share this on your social media page as well as use the comment column for comments, questions, emphasis and suggestion for improvement. Our next topic will detail on the various types of resources. Until then, you should guard your soul, it is a potent resources that can help rebuild the world. Ciao!😉
