RESOURCES: Potentials and capacity.

Howdy! You should have seen the grin on my face when I said that: it’s because am always excited to share my opinions over here; and even more excited to welcome you, my consistent readers. Thanks for stopping-by again. And to our first timers, you are warmly welcomed too. I do hope today’s post will be worth you time.🙏

So, we push forward, as I try to open your eyes to the ideal resources on earth; to that resources that determines how other resources within a nation is properly put to use. Let’s get started already!

Potential can be defined as the inherent capacity to become; while capacity is defined as the ability to perform or produce. That should pretty much spell out the difference between both words, but until I explain to detail, you might not see the perfect picture am  trying to paint.

I thought I tell you this earlier though; there is a plague ravaging earth after the formation of nations took place. It was birth out of competition, and resulted into dependency; as off today, that plague is a big baby working against the visions of many political leaders and citizens. It makes us forget the resources we have within, while we blame these leaders for mismanaging our lives; but the truth is we did the mismanagement. We would get to that in time.

In the introductory post of this series, I pointed out that the soul of man is the major resources on earth. And when discussing the various types of resources, I spoke about mental values; allow me tell you what you probably know; that soul of a man, as written in the bible, is made in the likeness of GOD (genesis 1:27). You might want to argue (GOD’s existence, but do you realize science only called our attention to what’s around us, they did not create anything; rather, they invented with what they found on earth)

So, this means the capacity of every soul on earth can only be measured in relative to GOD unlimited-ness, or how do you explain a 14year old who isn’t a certified engineer, yet he invented a radio station right in his backyard. Irrespective of age, size or location, the capacity of the soul and mind is the same; but environmental factors can cause limitations!

Potential on the other hand is largely dependent on the child’s upbringing: the aura around the house he grew up, the aura in the country as well as the sort of life his/her parent lived; and thats the limitation. When all these conditions are favorable, naturally a child will be able to focus his mind: he will be able to observe and gather knowledge into his mental storage system i.e the soul.

The accumulation of knowledge on every individual topic increases in these range; ignorance, subconscious awareness, awareness and consciousness. When a child is born, his soul is empty: that is what we call adolescency or foolishness (if am to spell it out); and as the child careful observes everything around him, people begin to notice traits of a good observer, this is the subconscious awareness of the soul because the soul-owner isnt aware of this abilities yet; which is when a child is said to have potentials or prospects.

On an average, the potential of children in England might be higher than that of children in Nigeria; while that of children in Nigeria might be higher than those in Syria; because of their divers level of distraction. A nation with lack of proper political system will frustrate her citizen, and when their citizens are frustrated, it will create bad aura and vibes whenever parents are at home, and that will affect their children; but the trauma of war and terrorism affect every citizen.

The soul is so much of a resources, it can create what has never being said to exist. If I may ask you: who thought you how to speak? Who taught you to walk? The soul of man does not need to be taught, the soul of man can teach himself. The soul of man, when is not under tension, can observe and understand just about anything.

Haven’t you heard of the Imafidon family whose 9year old kids passed a Cambridge’s advanced math examination? How can that be?! Com’on, that is meant to be an advanced math for christ sake; but it’s only advance to those who forceful focus their mind to gather knowledge. Did you know Albert Einstein taught himself maths and physics? Did you know Thomas Edison was told to drop out of school because he is deemed not teachable?

Check all these people, their parent contributed to their success; either while they were young or when they were older. But stories like this cant be common in some countries; because their political system and leaders can not create environment conducive enough for such to strive. How can a soul striving for survival focus on learning? How can family who is not guaranteed a daily meal think of how a child will learn?

If it wasn’t for robert katende who sacrificed his time, energy, money and ambitions to see phiona become someone, how will the world ever hear of her potential? This is how the capacity of human resource is wasted all over the world; especially in the so called underdeveloped countries. This is how bad leadership, mismanagement and lack of mentors can drive a nation backward.

We are made to believe all men are not equal, but I disagree with such statement. All men, women and children are equal irrespective of the race, religion or tribe: our capacity is the same, but our potentials might differ depending on the environment we grew. The effect of bad leadership is not immediate, but it sure affects the resources in those we call the treasures of tomorrow. When you allow a blind man lead you; won’t there be trouble in Paradise? Well, you should know the answer by now.
